The site is surrounded by the convulsive presence of buildings in all sizes, types of use and circulations, where simultaneously an extreme calm and the main circulation of the city live together, conforming a confuse and complex environment, result of a territorial fight on the boundaries of the city.


Similar to a geode, a mineral formation amorphous on its exterior, but that once open or broken shows a void full of semi-precious crystalized nature structures; the house proposes a neutral skin, dark, absolute, on the faces that conform the cube, and as a cut or excavation, a different geometric formations appears, with a high contrast in a red color (tule, brick, mud… ), showing the inner richness of the house… in a didactic way, the house pretends to show its inner structure, where the main rooms are open to the south, sheltered from the north.
