Silence
September 19, 2009
Silence is a modernized "candle stand" which can be used as a nightlight as well as a light stand to softly light up any dark room. The candle-like acrylic portion with special surface treatment emanates a soft, more than sufficient glow yet uses only 2.8 watts of energy— the same amount of energy used by your home appliance on stand-by.

In today's world— the 'modern' world— is it not possible to lower energy consumption, especially at night? Silence answers to today's needs to be ecological by using just 2.8 watts. Compared to a small nightlight which uses around 20 to 30 watts or a standard hallway light which uses anywhere from 60 to 120 watts of energy, Silence uses an unbelievably low amount of energy at just 2.8 watts. Not only is Silence's form the only aspect that is very modern but also, its ability to be energy efficient at the same time.
