What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? Wall scale and open floor space were huge hurdles and still remain the most difficult issues to tackle. Without the budget for custom millwork, lots of fancy wall coverings, etc. we turned to sites like etsy.com for art/prints and used blogs (apartment therapy included) to inspire composition. The result, we think, really represents our personalities — "happy minimal hodge podge".
