eris planetary sphere watch

students at the l'ecole d'arts appliques geneva designed this spherical watch for
pierre junod switzerland. it can be used as a pocket watch, pendant or as a
small desk clock.
the watch is made with anthracite anodized aluminum for the case, laser engraved
figures, mineral glass and functions using a swiss quartz movement.
the time is displayed with two pointers, a white hour hand and an orange minute hand
(extended from within the center) floating around the 'equator' of the globe. the minutes
are indicated on the upper hemisphere and the hours highlighted down below.
