A project for affordable housing

This housing block is conceived as an L-shaped building, strictly included by the area edges; three-dimensional articulation is obtained by alternating full volumes and voids over the given surface. The block is composed of patio-houses: voids generate and govern all different conditions of living, and give each dwelling an intimate relation to the outside. The building’s skin is made of metal panels, laid down in vertical stripes. In oder to let rain-water fow from the roof to the ground.
