IARTISTLONDON deconstructs some of the most well known works of contemporary art, turning them
into do-it-yourself kits to create your very own masterpiece. the concept allows anyone to make art, without
artistic training or ability. each IARTISTLONDON kit comes with all the necessary pieces, tools and
instructions. while the original works may cost thousands even millions of dollars, the kits only cost a
fraction more than the sum of their parts. the creators want to democratize the art, putting it into the hands
of more people. the concept puts the cost of contemporary art into question, drawing attention to the
exorbitant cost of the works that can be recreate for a small sum.
