kjellgren kaminsky architecture: paperfold lighting series

playing with paper eventually led to the creation of this lighting series by kjellgren kaminsky architecture.
the ‘paperfold’ collection features table lamps and floor lamps with simple metal bases and shades made
from folded and bent pieces of paper. the collection comes in a wide range of colours from black to vivid
magenta, yellow and cyan. the six lamps in the collection include different shades that are each outfitted
with light bulbs hung from a simple structural skeleton hidden behind the paper. while paper lamps are
nothing new, these new forms expand the iconography beyond traditional lanterns.
