samare in collaboration with kwangho lee created the lamp shade made of thick
rubber cables that have been woven.

the technique of flechee, native to quebec, is the method of braiding pieces of dyed wool in
motifs of arrows or bolts of lightning. french colonial men initially used these weavings as
a distinctive belt worn around their fur coats. samare appropriated this ancestral technique by
adapting it in the form of surfaces.
