What is your one favorite element in your small, cool home? I live in an amazing Spanish Colonial building in the Midtown Houston, TX. The building was built in 1929 by a Miami architect with 15 no-two-are-the-same apartments overlooking a gorgeous courtyard. My boyfriend lives next door.

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? I thrive in small spaces. I love the way they force one to edit and define a function for each square foot.
